I'd venture to say that NO taxpayer could escape from one of those unscathed if their tax returns included anything but W-2 wages and the standard deduction. Most taxpayers never undergo a Taxpayer Compliance Audit. Imagine having to go through 6 years worth all at once. YOU would be stuck with a tax bill too!
